Nutella Topped Red Velvet Oreo Cheesecake

Last year, everyone was talking about red velvet cake or cupcake.

Everyone was going gaga abou it like it’s so delicious.

I was curious about it.

So, I searched online for the recipe

and found nothing special about it since they used red colouring

and cream cheese.

A few months ago, I tried it for the first time at Coffee Bean.

The texture of the cake seems similar to fruit cake.

The cheese tasted nice though.

I wanted to try my hands on it too.

I’ve seen friends baking about it but I wanted to bake something different

yet unique and I goggled it.

This recipe from Lauren’s latest caught my eyes.

Check this out:

Sounds interesting?

Lets move on to the recipe.

You’ll need:

12 Chocolate Oreos

1 pack of cream cheese

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon cocoa powder

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (I love putting more because of the aroma)

1 egg

red food coloring

1/2 cup nutella

Don’t forget to preheat your oven at 175 degrees for 10-15 minutes!

Then line all the 12 oreos on the cupcake containers.

Whipped cream cheese and sugar until it is all mixed.

Then pour in the cocoa powder, vanilla extract, egg and and red colouring.

Mix eveything together until it is all combined.

Then spoon the batter over to oreos until it is 2/3,

Bake it for 175 Degrees for 20-25 minutes.

Try for 20 minutes and check it.

Then cool it at room temeprature before storing it in the refridgerator.

I coudn’t resist and took a bite.

When it is time to serve it, remove it from the fridge,

remove the cupcake container,

and spread Nutella on it.

It’s up to you on how much Nutella you want to spread on it.

Looks delicious and you’re drooling as you’re reading this post?

Then, bake it!
